If you like RPG’s or if you want a multiplayer game that is a little different this is well worth a closer look. This is an older game and it has been worked on to make it a little more “modern” so while somethings can be a little clunky it is not a major issue. Trying to lead my own faction, gain favor with others and waging war on anyone who got in my way was very addictive. Mount & Blade Warband is a really fun RPG and while the story may not have exactly hooked me. The one I actually had the most fun with was capture the flag as we had to really work as a team to try and win. Team Deathmatch, capture the flag, battle, siege and conquest are all available. I was very impressed with the amount of modes for multiplayer. Whenever a player or NPC does fatal cut damage to an enemys head by swinging left or right, there will be a chance the head will be decapitated.

You have so much control and I love the swordplay, the way you can fight on horseback and also the way you can run around the battlefield and use things like arrows for your own ammunition is really cool. Even though this is an older game the combat still feels very good. By far my favorite part of Mount & Blade Warband is the combat.
